Audio Visual Ventures is a music composition, education and publishing company founded by Adam Longbottom in 2008. Adam is a composer, having gained a PhD in music from the University of Leeds. Most of his composition work is visual-led, exploring closely the relationship between audio and visual elements.
Dr Longbottom also teaches music technology and woodwind in secondary education.

A Year in Pieces is a collection of fun tunes for solo instrument and piano that can be played at appropriate stages throughout the whole academic year, with various standards of music to support learners roughly between grades 1-4.
Pupils may only be able to play the easier tunes at first, but can return to this book to master the increasingly difficult pieces at every stage throughout each academic year.
